A slim, tapered leather watch strap for watches that don't need to shout. Our Dress & Vegetable-Tanned collection is built entirely from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, chosen for one reason: this is the only type of leather that genuinely earns its patina, deepening in color and character over months of wear rather than staying static like corrected-grain leather. Five of our six hides come from Tuscany, Italy, from tanneries that have practiced traditional vegetable tanning for 50+ years and are certified members of the region's Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather consortium: Arizona (La Bretagne), Pueblo (Badalassi Carlo), Apollo (Conceria Orice), Buttero (Conceria Walpier) and Babele (Tempesti). The sixth, Barenia calfskin, comes from HAAS Tannery in France, a renowned house using a chrome-and-vegetable tanning process for an especially rich, fast-developing patina. Each hide has its own grain, texture and fixed colour, from dark cognac to desert tan to cool grey. Every strap shares the same slim, tapered dress silhouette designed to sit flush under a cuff, with quick-release spring bars for a tool-free fit.
